Move linked Revit model to Coordination Model position

I need some help moving my model and the linked models to a new Coordination Model (.mwc)

I've been given Revit Models to use as starting point, later on I've received what would be the Federated Model, and I've been asked to use that one as reference. For some reason the location of this new Coordination Model is far far away from the previous Revit models. Is there a way to move everything to match this new Coordination Model without messing with plan views?

Out of curiosity, I started a new project, using the Coordination Model first and they linking the Revit Models, and they all match. On my existing project I acquired coordinates of the Linked Revit Models. Not sure what went wrong on the existing model to get such a different locations.

Anyway, any idea on how to move everything? Thanks in advance

Best way to move the Project (Including all Views) is by using the 'Relocate Project' tool

This will move everything and not alter any plans or sections you have already made.

BEFORE you move your Project though, triple check with your clients/consultants that they are confident of this new location of the Federated model. It wouldn't be the first time iv heard of someone moving their entire project to have to move it back due to error on their behalf.

Do you also have a common Project Base Point or Survey Point location everyone is using?  We usually pick a Column Grid intersection, a non movable landmark or Surveyor's Marker.

this class focuses mostly on C3D and Revit coordination, but it is full of good information on coordinating models locations in general.
