Minimum height of walls

I detail precast concrete which always have a shim space between wall panels and footing.  The standard gap that we use is 1" for shim and grout and I use a wall with a "grout" type so that I can place the footing below the panel.  If I sent the bottom of the wall at the footing and the top at 1" above the footing I get the attached error.    The wall is set as 1" high but Revit says that the top is higher than the base.  Is there any way to make a 1" tall wall?

What exactly did you do by "sent the bottom of the wall at the footing"?  Did you attach the bottom, change wall base offset, or something else?

By the way, why not use stacked wall?

Sorry, typo.  It should have said "set".   Here are the properties for the wall.  if I set it to anything less than 1¼" it gives the error and will not change the wall.

A wall must be more the 30 mm, which is about 1.25". So what you got is the expected behavior. Maybe make it taller then edit profile. Or, move it down then attach its base to the footing. Or, build normal height wall then use reveal to cut the bottom for the shim.

Or better yet Autodesk could allow the wall to be 1" tall.  I can see no good reason for this limitation.

Don't you just love it when Autodesk thinks it knows what is needed more than the end user does? GGGRRR!!
