Lines Too Short

Can anyone explain what the deal is with lines being too short in REVIT?  I've run into a lot of issues with exploding CAD imports and also just creating details with lines that need to be very short and it's surprising that this has become such a problem for us.  Is there a specific reason I can't draw a line that is only 1/256" long?  Any help is very much appreciated.  Thanks.

Why is this reply just got... ignored. I'm dealing with the same thing.

Normally, I would be happy with just leaving the detail (in this case, logos) in CAD, but for certain items like hatches with a hole in in, Revit tends to fail to read them properly and fill the entire boundary instead. Thinking exploding or tracing the logo will help, but there are certain items in the logo that requires lines smaller than 0.8mm. Relax, it won't show in prints, they said. It's actually quite obvious.

you can trick revit, load the detail, scale it to 10 times the size, draw the lines, then scale it back to exact size. this way you can create line smaller then 0.8mm

if you really need it you can trick revit into drawing those lines. link the dwg detail and scale it 10x for example.

Then pick the lines you need and scale them back to exact size. This lets you draw lines smaller then 8mm.

for detailing window profiles for example

Drywall steel profiles. Standard thickness in Europe ranges from 0.5 to 0.6 mm.

More than enough, I'd say.

i found a solution to this maybe will help someone in future , so i had this error when creating ceilings using automatic tool it worked for some but didn't for others , the issue was triggered cause i was using different walls with different types in same wall and some of them wasn't aligned precisely , but when i aligned these small walls together ceiling worked properly .
