Issue adding gusset plates to back of column

I'm trying to add gusset plates to the back of a column to connect some EQ L's in X  orientation

when I try use a connection method I get a message " Non-linear elements not supported"

If I try add manual gusset I can't seem to get the bolts

Gusset 1.png

Above image shows approximate location from side where gusset required to connect bracing of EQ L

Gusset 2.png

Above image shows holes, this could be 1, 2, 3,... holes with single or double columns of holes as required

Gusset 3.png

Above image shows the validation of the requirement for bracing to be mid column as there a beam below that will have a railing element on it., and thus to avoid clashing the bracing has to be mid column. G3 and G4 will be approximate 50mm above the beam as there will be flooring of about 40mm resting on beam.

Please advise solution to resolve

Figured out how to perform action required.

What confused me was watching a tutorial on YT showed to add gusset plate family, which for some reason you cannot bolt to (added idea here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-ideas/create-bolted-connection-on-inserted-gusset-family-steel/...)

Solution to use plate on plane required

Better to use these tutorials
