  1. Is it possible to enter curved analytical surfaces in revit, ie a helical ramp.
  2. When entering the analytical surface in revit, it does the flat parts and ignores the helical part.

What is the best way to go about creating both physical and analytical model for helical ramp?

In versions previous to 2023 a shaped floor would also result in a flat analytical panel at one level and you would be stuck with that.

In Revit 2023 there are also no curved panels but now that the analytical is separated out you can perhaps approximate one similar to below. However to do so efficiently you would need to use some form of automation such as Dynamo or the API.

Below also highlights a potential benefit of being able to associate multiple analytical elements with one physical element (currently there is only a one to one relationship).
