I simply want to create a rectangular profile and path sketch with slanted lines using the Metric Generic Model.rft file. Is it possible?

Profile : rectangular

Path Sketch : Start Point (0, 0, 0) - End Point (10, 10, 10)

I think this creates a slanted rectangular model.

However, even if I try to raise the end point on the floor plan, in 3D, or in the Left View, the mouse is prohibited. Is this impossible?

I have to use generic model category.

This is because the Path is defined to the Reference Plane.  Therefore you need to either set the reference plane to the correct angle or use a predefined path.

You could easily achieve this by using a predefined Rectangular Profile and drawing the Path at the correct angle.

Utilise a Reference Plane and change the Plane to this then Draw your Path on this plane and then use a Profile (or Sketch as required)

Alternatively, you could use a 3D Shape to define the line for the Path then remove it after?

Hello. jay.

It worked for me. Thx.
This is a simple straight line, but is an arc possible?
It was okay, but it wasn't what I wanted. I want it like a spiral.
