Hello all,
I could not find any post regarding this issue and appreciate any help. So I have been using Revit for a long time and recently I am learning Robot Structural Analysis. I was amazed always by the videos where the structure is exported into Robot and then after design, the rebars are imported back to Revit. Many tutorials show that the rebar automatically go into their selected object, without any manual design.
Now coming to Revit and Robot 2023, I am following the same procedures and I am not able to get the rebar show in my Revit design. My workflow is like this:
- Design the physical model in Revit then create an analytical model
- Export the analytical to Robot and design Provided Reinforcement (columns and beams)
- Update the model and results from Robot back to Revit.
Now from the tutorials and old versions, the rebar should show in the physical model (3D view) and all I have to do is start documentation and checking. However for some reason it does not and I don't know what is the problem. Is this option or workflow possible in Revit 2023 or they have removed it? Is there any other way or new workflow to do documentation of reinforcement?
Can someone please explain it to me or direct me to a discussion where this issue has been discussed.
Best,
HRH
