HSS Connectiond

I am trying to connect a wide flange beam to a HSS column with a thru plate connection. Keep getting warning stating invalid type or number of input elements. What is correct procedure?

through plate is a 3 element connection. It connects 2 elements by passing through the 3rd one - through plate

To see more details about each connection, use the tooltip from the type selector

- open type selector

- go with the mouse over the connection type => a tooltip will pop-up - this is just few pictures

- keep the mouse few seconds over the type so the extended tooltip to pop-up - more details about the connection
