How to show stud walls at level below as dashed

I am new at Revit Structure.  When using Autocad on a wood framed building, I show stud walls above current level as solid lines and stud walls below as dashed lines.  How do I accomplish this in Revit?  Do I work with view range?  Do I underlay the level below and isolate the stud walls below and change lines to dashed lines?

Thank-you.

If you have a floor in your project (between the walls below and walls above)  the walls below should show as dashed by default in a hidden line view.

Maybe you can show us a picture of what you are modeling?

Thanks Joe.  I'm now starting to build a template and was just looking ahead at how to address some issues that I didn't quite understand.  I am vaguely familiar with view range as well as underlaysand just wanted to make sure I was heading in the right direction.

My building does have floors between; when I get to that point, I'll see if it looks the way I want.  Otherwise, I'll ask more questions.  Thanks for the input.
