How to Set a Fixed Lap Splice Length Instead of Formula-Based Length

I need to specify a fixed lap splice length for rebar in Revit, regardless of the bar diameter. By default, Revit calculates lap splice lengths based on a formula, which depends on the rebar diameter. For example, for a #5 rebar (60D), the lap splice length might calculate to 3'-1 1/2" . However, my project requires a fixed lap splice length of 3'-0" , no matter the bar size.

I’ve tried looking for a way to override the default lap splice calculation, but I haven’t found a parameter or setting to control this directly

just change the multiplyer so it gives you the 3' splice, thats what i did

I know but it creates fraction value though negligible but I would like to see rough figure.

multiplier factor =  splice lenght/ bar diameter.

in case you get a fraction (which in your case you will) just put the multipliers with 3 digits after the integer.

Select the Rebar in the Splice Arrangement > Properties Palette > Type Properties > Splice Lengths
