How to make 1 Tag for seperated Rebar sets

Hi everyone,

does any of you have an idea how I can represented a seperated rebar set combined in 1 tag?

For example: I have a concrete wall with an opening and to the left of the gap there is a stirrup group of 15, to the right side of the gap is a stirrup group of 12.

These are modelled as 2 seperated rebar sets.

In 2D Autodesk Structural detailing you could simply make 1 detail section with a stirrup calculating the total drawn rebars. 27 in this case.

Now when I make a detail section for this wall I'm very limited in Revit because I can only tag 1 part of these stirrups.

I would have to make at least 2 sections (wether it would be 1 section of the front view as extra or 2 sections of the wall 1 part left of the gap and 1 part right of the gap).

In large projects this is very time consuming and doesn't seem to me as the right workflow.

I would want to make 1 detail section combining these rebar sets in 1 quantity tag.

In other words: is there a way to group these rebar sets, so I can tag these in 1 multi rebar tag.

And yes I know sofistik does this, but it makes a sofistik structural rebar container, which I can't use in our Bar Bending Schedule.

See image to clarify.

Seems this is now resolved in Revit 2022 by the use of deleting rebars in a rebat set.
thank you Autodesk!
