How to integrate Revit architecture model with STAAD Pro static model

When I transfer the STAAD Pro static model as dxf into Revit, the 3D drawing is linear, how can I combine two separate disciplines?

I would suggest the view that has been exported from STAAD Pro is in the wrong orientation and would need to be reviewed and maybe done again, this could be reviewed in AutoCAD.  There is a addin for Revit and STAAD which may help resolve this.

As regards incorporating different disciplines you need to set your View Discipline to Coordination rather than Architectural to ensure you see other disciplines items in the Workspace/View
