Why don't you make it as a custom steel connection?

Hi,
The steel fabrication elements in revit do not support the standard revit group option.
to understand the operations and considerations, please take a look at the help section for detail steel modelling;
https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2022/ENU/?guid=GUID-F4AA1E38-F253-41BF-8FB2-AD98A1C994D1
also there is a sub section that explains the use of the steel fabrication shape, this is when any of the steel modifiers are applied, this beam shape is applied, it explains the grouping or non grouping ability.
https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2022/ENU/?guid=GUID-19A4C068-F7A1-415F-A991-0EFF73DD6819
Partial extract from help page:
Groups | Elements with a steel fabrication shape cannot be grouped and a warning message will notify you about this upon trying to include this type of elements in a group.
Note: Generic connections cannot be added to a group, but can be placed on elements in a group. If you select multiple elements, including a generic connection, the group will be created excluding the generic connection and a warning message will inform you about the exclusion. Similarly, if you copy a generic connection using the Array tool, the resulting copies will be groups formed of the input elements without the generic connection.

Assemblies |
Elements with a steel fabrication shape cannot be included in an assembly and a warning message will notify you about this upon trying to include this type of elements in an assembly.

If the joint is a manual collection of bolts and plates, then you could consider the custom connection option with the steel tools.

I can't create a group with the plate, the bolts and the beam. And it is not possible to create custom connections between concrete and steel either.
