Could you provide some additional details on what you're looking for versus what you are seeing? Are you creating nested families or are the plates added in the project environment? Do you have any sample files or screenshots that might help explain?

I need to keep a 300mmX300mmX10thk plate (embedded one) at every 3M in my column for Pipe support. How to fix this? any procedure available?

Correct me if I've misunderstood you. Use a face based plate, attach it to a column face. Use array tool to multiply.

FYI, there is a bug related to face based families attached to the faces of certain elements.  When the end of a structural member moves, like the top of a column or the right end of a beam, the attached face based familes will move.  This is not the case if the bottom of the column or the left end of the beam moves.  See attached link: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Revit-Structure/Face-based-families-move-when-adjusting-beam-...

 

I assume they are working on a fix for this.
