How to create a structural slab with a specified cross-section?

Hi community,

Currently, I have a job requiring me to create an existing concrete building. The floor slabs of the building have a unique cross-section. The default structural slab of Revit is rectangular. I wonder if I can make a customized structural slab. See attached for the cross-section.

Any information would be helpful.

You need to edit the profile of the structural material of the floor.

Thanks for the solution. I was thinking the same thing. However, there's a downside of this method. When I cut the section along the deck span direction, the lines of the section looked not correct.  I will attach the photos.

setting the "Show Hidden Line" to None  for the view should solve that. you can also use the Linework (LW) tool to hide them in the views there showing in.

My recommendation is to model them as concrete T beams... because that's what they are. If you do that, you can then schedule the rebar in the flanges, webs, etc.  If you go the rookie route and model them as structural foundation (SOG) or Floors or Roofs... you'll be kicking yourself in the rear later - you don't just want to model it to "look right" you want it to both look right and BE right, otherwise, you and other's cannot capitalize on the full functionality (data rich models) of Revit.
