Hello from Egypt,
How to control (material) Hatch pattern line weights ?  its weight is always the same as host instance.
Only (Filled region) Hatch pattern line weights can be controlled.
I looked for solutions and found no solution at all !
Attached image explains the problem.

There is limited control of the lineweights of patterns.

It is scale dependent and controlled by the lineweight matrix (row 1)

HERE a blog article discussing this topic in more detail and some potential ways to work with this

As i understood, there's no solution. Changing the instance and its pattern line weight with each other is the only solution. Is that right ?

At the end of the blog the writer gives a potential workaround.

What does it all mean?

This is another example of  the software writers deciding what is good for us!  We have no choice or control that I can figure out.  All I can recommend is to reserve weight 1 for material pattern hatching.  It is probably wise to put all filled region hatching in weight 1 too, so that when you apply those nasty little filled region patches in section, they blend together.  Normally I do not approve of that, but when it comes to pads and earth hatching in section it is pretty much unavoidable!
