how do you cut a steel profile sweep?

Hi Guys,

I have modeled a PFC using a profile sweep. I want to cut the end off below the red line shown in image below.

I've tried to do it with a void extrusion.

You should be able to cut using reference planes or solid geometry you can his after or use the inbuilt tools from the Steel Tab

I cant use the steel modifiers. Is this because it is a model in place profile sweep?

Most likely yes as the sweep hasn’t been categorised correctly.

Why cannot the standard Profile/structural Family be applied?

Cut it in the project with a SOLID form mass.
