Is there any methods we can add cracks features into the structural elements such as Beams, column ect. Is it possible to be visible in the geometrical componenets and have detailed description of the crack?

As it is without add-in etc., no.

That's an interesting idea but I struggle to think how it could be done without adding a lot of model complexity. perhaps model lines or texture map on the surface of the elements with detail views containing the text? The deformed state of the real life structure compared to idealised model would add an additional complexity.

What form of survey information input would be used for this i.e. digital such as laser surface scan or visual inspection/photos?

We do some concrete restoration work. Parkades, precast balcony slabs, foundations etc etc. For elevations and to show in your 3D view, I will outline the cracks with model likes. And when we get into section work, and details, I use the cut profile under the view tab, to show how much to break out or the crack itself.

Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Model lines are the only thing I could think of.  Assign the lines to the surface plane of the element you want to show cracks on.
