How can I raise multiple walls at once by certain value?

Hello,

I'm working on designing screen wall around a project. It's divided into panels that has different top and bottom to go with site grading. Now I need to raise all them by 2'0", but they have different heights from the finish level which is shared with the building, and of course I don't want to do each panel individually! Is there a way to raise all of them with less steps without changing the existing levels.

If the walls' Top Constraint is Unconnected, create a new Level and change Base Constraint of the walls to that new Level.

It depends on how you modeled/placed the walls...

Example A: If wall bottom level is determined by a Base Offset and wall height determined by unconnected height

  1. To increase Height => select all and add 2' to the unconnected height
  2. To increase Elevation,
    • Select all in project in 3D or in an elevation view
    • Start Move command
    • Make sure Constrained is unchecked and Disjoin is Checked
    • Model the walls Vertically 2'

Example B: Top is constrained to a level and Height is controlled by the Top Offset (ie: Connected top)

  1. To increase the Height =>
    • Add a new Level 2' above the current top constraint
    • Select all walls in project and change top constraint to the new level
  2. To increase the Elevation
    • Either use a level similar to above
    • Or select all >> uncheck Constrain and check Disjoin then move up

Thanks @RDAOU for the detailed explanation. I did setup my project with unconnected height, but in my project, the heights are different while bases are the same, so if I selected all the panels, the Heights field will be blank and whatever value i'll put it, it will be applied to all panels.

I'll definitely change how it setup the next project to include a top level.
