Hidding a point cloud from an external reference

Hello everyone,

I working on an structural revit model which has the architectural model referenced. The problem comes since the reference has a point cloud so when I liked the file the point cloud makes quite difficult the modeling process.

Is there any way to turn off the point cloud from the external reference with out turning off the architectural model ?

I did not use Point Cloud, you can attach a picture or test file so I can help you

If you are switching it on and off frequently, you can place it in the link on a phase either pre existing or post completion then 8n main model add the same phase , map and use phase filters to show and hide

Hi, you can select the cloud point model by tab(don't select the linked model but only cloud point), and use EH to hide it.

Another way, you could ask the Architectual team to put the cloud point model into a particular workset(If they use workset to collaborate), and you can close the workset where the cloud point model in(manage links-Manage Worksets).

Works with worksets indeed but worksets would still need to be mapped as well..phasing is the least clicks to switch on/off considering it is a drop down menu

Another quit popular method is to Add the Revit Link with the Point Cloud to a Design Option..Can have several and 1 blank under the same set...Setting Primary would reveal the Point Cloud and setting the Blank option as primary hides all

Thank you all for the responses.

I reckon the best solution is to go with Worsets!
