Getting a linked Revit plan to show up on my plan

I am trying to get an underground piping plan from the mechanical Revit model to show the underground piping on the slab plan in my structural Revit model.

I have their underground piping plan as the linked view in my plan but I think because the piping is located below my slab, the piping does not show up. Is there any straight forward way I can get the piping to show without hiding or making all of my slab transparent?

In visibility/Graphic Overrides, go to the Revit Links and change the display settings from host view to custom.

In Linked view,  select your underground piping plan view and change the View range to linked view.

Please refer the attached image.
