Generic model floor type family is showing as dash

I have created a generic model using the generic model floor type template. When I put the generic model in my plan within the floor the generic model shows up as dash (hidden line). I can go to the object styles for the view and change the hidden line pattern to solid, but there are other generic models also in the view that I would like to stay as dash. Is there a way to show solid hidden lines for some generic model familes and dash for other generic model families?

I think filters might work for this but I am tyring to use Revit LT which does not support filters and other structural items.

Can you not just override the projection line pattern by element for that one item?

I said that you can do that, but when you do that it changes it for "all" generic models, because the projection line pattern is for the generic model category.

I'm talking about just selecting one in a view, right clicking on it, and picking Override Graphics in View > By Element from the right-click menu.

I have many of these in my model, so for this case by element would not be desired. If I wanted to change the way many of these elements look I would not be able to do that across the board since it would be by element.

You can select many of them at once and still use the By Element method.

Wish list item: custom categories. Selecting all in view or one by one is a no go.
