Floor Tagging Across Split Lines

I have a large view that is split into two separate views (as dependent views) to fit on sheets. I also have slabs that cross the split line and are shared between the two dependent views. When I use the Span Direction Symbol family to tag the slab, the tag shows up on the parent view but not the dependent views because the extents of the slab go beyond the dependent view. Is there a way to get this tag to show up on the dependent views even though the entire slab is not visible?

Yes you have to split the slabs up more. Tag visibility is based on the extent of the tagged element in the view vs the extent outside and for a span direction tag this extent becomes the extent of the slab. When you pick the tag you see it's extent. If the centre is outside crop region or annotation crop region (when used) it will not show.

If these are RC then it doesn't arise as some thought would be given to pour extents matching up with view extents on sheets (so the RC details/pour sequence will align). This is also a good reason not to use loadable void families to simulate C.J.s/E.J.s etc.
