Floor not selected

when i press "TAB" key, all elements are selected one by one by floor cannot. 

is there any setting i am not aware of to make floors selected by TAB key.

Either Hover the mouse near the edge of the floor element while hitting TAB

OR enable the Select Elements by Face option...This option can be found

• either by clicking the Arrow under Modify
• or in the info Bar bottom Left
