Family Type name in View title

Hi,

is there a way to make a link to a view title parameter and the family type name of the shown structural framing in the view?

We want to show the structural framing type used in the detail view to add it to the view title.

Right now the view title only shows the view name:

we have to tag the beam in the view to show the type, but I was wondering if this could be skipped by simply adding a parameter to the view title.

I've tried this with a shared parameter, but I can't figure out what could make a link to the actual beam in the view.

I don't know of any way natively in Revit to do that. The View Title only looks at view properties, likewise the Framing Tag only looks at the framing properties. You may be able to do somthing like that with a Dynamo script though.

well, I can't mark it as a solution, because it isn't a solution...
