Extreme distances and Structural calculations

I have an Architects model in which the survey point has a base location that is over 300 miles from the Revit origin.

If we link this into the Structural model and use the same base point for the Survey point, will this affect the Structural calculations?

I ask the question because it appears that this has caused one of my Dynamo routines to kill Revit.

It appears that the extreme distance to the survey point is the cause.  If I move the survey point (clipped) back to the Revit origin the Dynamo routine runs OK.

It is known that when you operate outside the 20 miles radius you can expect different issues. So yes, this might impact Dynamo also and possibly your structural calculations. HERE a link with more information about this 20 miles limit.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.
