Exporting Revit to CAD - Layers

We created our Revit border from Client border in AutoCAD 2018 Format.  part of our deliverables is to send any issued drawings in PDF and dwg format.  However, when I export our sheets to Auto cad they pretty much lose all weight.  As it is our clients color table only has 5 available weights with the heaviest being 0.01970".  Our border in Auto cad is made primarily with Polylines with weights higher than the clients ctb.  The revit version has a width of 0.0500".  Is there any way for me to export the drawings so that these lines are polylines so I dont have to alter the ctb, which we are not permitted to do?

I guess my bigger question is how do I make AutoCad and Revit drawings look similar if not exactly the same?

@Anonymous Hello, AutoCAD and Revit are in a different interface, so don't expect them when you exported to AutoCAD the line weights are the same the outcome of printing. There is no way you can create or become polylines in revit at the moment. The only thing you can do is override the lines and change the weights. The other options is to create an object style line overlay the objects with lines (but not advisable). Thanks

Line weights can be modified from manage tab

to match your cad requirements

Hello,

You can also edit how lines are exported in the Export DWG/DXF settings.

The lines tab allows you to automatically generate line types in AutoCAD or specify which line type should be used for each Revit one.

Let me know if you have any questions on this.

I can map to layers with colors that match the clients lineweights but in AutoCAD, polylines are not affected by color for plotting  they plot their assigned weight.  my problem is the client does not have a color assigned to the weight of the border lines.
