Exporting revit files to AutoCad

Hello to everyone,

I am recently trying to learn how to work with revit at my present company, but i am having some issues with one of the objectives that they set to me. Its predictable to all of you that i am a newbie in the subject, since i only started learning this program since a week.

The questions that i have are the following:

I need do undestand how i am going to control the colour of the lines when i export the revil model to dwg.

Also, i need to understand how can i control the lineweigth of the lines after i export the model from revit to autocad. This question is related to the fact that the style of the line, for exemple, needs to change when one element is behind other element.

Here you can see a picture of the autocad that i got after exporting the south elevation from the revit model.

When you export the Revit View you can configure the DWG export settings.

You can set the Layer names, Colours and configure Linetypes.

Hi there,

I already did that, i created a new setup to export the files from revit to autocad. In the 3d view the color that i associated with the categorys that i wanted to show in revit and in autocad work, but in the 2d view that doesnt happen. Also, in the 3d view the elements appear with a pattern that seems solid but i was expecting something similar to AR-CONC, i dont know how to fix this issue.

In this picture you can see the layesr modifications that i made:

This one shows the patterns modifications:

Also i would like to add, that in the 2d view that bored piles, that on the layer menu have the name "Estacas" appear has a block and i have to explode each one of them in order to the color that i choose appear. If you could or someone could help me with this i would be very glad.
