Exporting Just some Categorys from Revit to AutoCad

Hello,

 I was woundering if it would be possible to export only some model categorys from the revit model to Autocad. I am asking this because the model in which i am working is basically composed by only structural elements, and  I dont want the other categorys to show at the AutoCad.

Here is a print screen that shows the modify DWG/DXF Export Setup, in which showl all the categorys.

What i want is to know if it is possible to only export the structural elemnts of the model.

Hope that my english is good enough and everyone can understand me.

Best Regards,

Pedro Patrício

Easiest would be to create a view with the required categories and export that view to autocad

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

To add on to the response from @L.Maas Revit exports exactly what is shown in the view(s) that are chosen for export.  It is What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG).  As was mentioned, create a special view that is made for exporting, adjust visibility via Visibility Graphics to make it show what you would like to see in your AutoCAD exports.

Thanks a lot for the help. At the moment i already understood that. Now i am having another issue, i am trying to export the revit files to the autocad with specific colours, patterns and lineweigths. I have created an export setup that contain all the colours patterns and lineweitghs that my company is demanding, and when i export the 3d view of revit to autocad, it works. The problem appears when i try to export a specific 2d view, The following images show the issue that i am talking about:

 2d View : ;

3d View

Another thing that I have noticed is that in the 2d view the colomns that are actually bored piles, are exported as a 2d block, the block is named as "Estacas", Portugues word to reference the bored piles, and they have the colour that i have associated to that layer, however, as you can see in the pictures that I am showing you guys, you can see that the green colour doesnt show up. To the green colour show it is necessary to explode the block "each bored pile", and even after that i have to still change the colour to green.

I Hope you understood my english, because i have probably some grammar issues.

Best regards
