I'm working on a Revit model of a bridge structure and I'm having difficulty creating a suitable IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) export. When we work with buildings, elements are typically assigned to levels. However, with bridges, we usually assign them to BridgeParts like SUPERSTRUCTURE.
The problem is, even though I've configured the class mapping to define a framing element as an IfcBeam, I can't specify whether it belongs to a superstructure or a pier.
How can I define this hierarchy?
