End connection not in place

Hi guys.

I am creating end plate on W beam. 

One side works well, the other not at all. Insert inside in the beam. What is wrong?

You have a extending modifier, which extends the beam past the end pplate set out on blue dot end point of framing. Can't say if this is by design or intended but seems unnecessary. Therefore tab into this modifier (phantom blue rectangular thing), delete it then extend the beam to the correct location via it end location. Like the good old days when the end of the beam was the end of the beam (blue dot + end/start extension parameter).
