I have downloaded and installed Revit.  After installation, is it necessary to keep the downloaded files, or can I delete them to free up storage space?

I work off a laptop with an SSD so storage space is valuable.

Accepted solution

you can delete the installation files.  If you want to, you can move them to a portable hard drive in case you need to reinstall or update your autodesk software in the future.

just a quick tip - apart from all the usual cleaning, you can try to compress drive to save space. I have SSD too and managed to gain some 15GB.
