Cutting and joining columns with sloped beams

Hi guys,

I'm trying to cut a sloped beam with a column (concrete). I tried to join, cut and cope but I'm having some difficult.

The only way I got this is using a reference plane to cut the beam on the face of the column. As you can see at the image attached.

Anyone have some thoughts about this? Thank you!

check structural material of beam and column it should be same.

It's the same material, I checked before...

I figure out what has happened. It was a problem with the family I was using. The material in columns is a type parameter and the beams have the material as an instance parameter.

I don't know why, but this way the they can't join. I don't know if this the only issue, but I changed the family and now its working.
