Cut End of Beam

i want to cut the end of beam, to be with slab's edge and curve (not to be out side of it)
how can i do that

Use Opening by face tool to cut.

I tried to use that but i didn't get it, don't know if used open by face tool by wrong or it's not the right way to do that
