Custom beam dimensions.

Hi,

I would like to create a custom dimension for beams, where I have the length and beam tag including the dimension lines to the edge of the beams.

Until now I 'hard coded' it to look according to our needs, but I would like it to be integrated and change as the elements change in Revit. 

This is the current dim, is there a way to combine a tag with the dimensions?

edit tag family and add to it system length or cut length according to you need, or do a math equation to it.
