Concrete Column Graphics

I wonder if the "switch join order" would solve this problem ( see screen capture below)

So, the architect linked our model to their model. the problem was that their walls are showing passing through our columns (see the 2 lower columns above) how we solved this problem was, we( the structural guys) unjoined the geometry of our concrete columns to our structural concrete walls and slabs (see the desired result, 2upper columns above) problem is, in our structural model, we now have lines in our column/wall intersections (see below)

and it's not how we want it. we want it to show like below.

do you guys know how we can fix this without messing up the architect's graphics?

the only way is to inform the architect's ton how to model the column and walls and inform that you have difficulties linking their model? just saying. thanks
