CIRCULAR REBAR NOT SPIRAL FORM

Hi 

Hoping you could help me create a circular rebar without overlap and not in spiral form?

I've tried the rebar family but none of them can create this kind of rebar shape.

The dilemma is circular Rebar shapes require an overlap.  You could use Free-form Rebar.

Use Aligned > Pick BOTH Half Faces

Then the Path

i tried doing  it but it does an overlap type rebar .

I am not sure if you have done it correctly as there are no "Workshop Instruction Parameter" which is present with Free-form Rebar

However, this method does not work either on further investigation and stupidly I did not turn on Fine Level of Display Graphics as it would have become clearer!

With this method if you need it to not be set to Bend in the Workshop Instruction Parameter as this will add the overlap however it still shows it as overlapped in 3D which is not what you want!

When setting it to Bend it now adjusts the bar length and overlap

However in the Schedule for both options the Bar length is the same but one just does not report the Overlap Dimension!

You can overcome this but it is more in-depth and you need to edit the Constraints of the Free-Form Rebar

1. First Set Bar Handle/Align to Open

2. Then Edit one of the Bar End constraints to 0.0
