Changing the angle of joists in a beam system despite what the boundary is.

I'm working on a parking garage using Revit 2018. This is my first soirée using the program. I figured out how to use beam systems, including some changes to the spacing.

Now, however, as you'll see from the picture below, I have to change the layout of the joists from a NE/SW angle to a N/S (90 deg) angle. I don't see how to do this, and reviewing the Help isn't really helping

How do I do this? I have a suspicion that I'm going to have to put these in manually... at least that's my first solution.

Thanks!

Can you elaborate on what NE / SW means?

There is nothing mentioned in the attached picture.

all you have to do is to specify the beam direction using the beam direction linework. It doesnt have to be specified by the boundary lines. See screenshot below
