Can't rotate section view

I have this conveyor truss at an angle. I would like to have a plan view, perpendicular to the top chord of the truss. When i do a section (see pics) the view is flip vertically & I cant rotate it so that it's horizontal... Anybody has a suggestion...?

You won't be able to rotate the view to be horizontal in the view...but you can place the view on a sheet and rotate it there.  You can then activate the view on the sheet and place annotation if needed

That's a very good idea. It works perfect. The only drawback is that it also rotate the view title... Should I create a new vertical view title family to accommodate the viewport rotation? (if that can be done...).

Thanks a bunch!

In this case i usually draw reference plane parralel to chord and  draw detail view (not section) it snaps to reference plane. And all works good tags etc. But it always on view placed differently than necessary, than i use under view ribbon create tab command callout. geenrate new view wich would be able to rotate on sheet just rotating crop boundaries, remember that its are rotating in opposite direction.

if helep please mark as a solution.

in one word. Take callout from all your section view, and you can rotate it selecting crop boundaries.

I'm having some trouble understanding your workflow... I think I got as far as the detail view being parallel to the top chord (see pics). Would it be possible to clarify the instruction? Thanks a bunch!
