Can rebar form a different angle with beam in Revit ?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I want to adjust the angle between rebar and beam like the inclined stirrups in the attached image.

So far I can not find any properties to change this angle, the rebar seems to always form a 90 degree with the selected beam.

Does anyone have any ideas to make this happen in Revit ?

hi you can do it using the steps belwo :

1 . draw the beam and sections like pic 1

2. go to longitudinal section and draw reference plane an name it like pic 2

3. go to cross section and set work plane to the inclined refrence plane you draw and draw your stirups and adjust the constraint like pic 3

Hi @Anonymous

You can use @Ahmed_Muharram , but don't copy the stirrup that you have sketched.

Instead, select the stirrup, click the varying rebar set button and then change the layout > Max spacing or some other option.
