Can I edit the circle leader (open dot leader)

Is there a way to remove or edit the "out of the box" open dot leader in revit? I do not understand why programmers would have the leader line extend into the circle, this obstructs anything that you are trying to call out.

For example, we would like to use this open dot leader to call out horizontal rebar but the leader line extends into the circle which would obstruct the item we are trying to leader too......

Any help would be appreciated!

As far as I know this is not possible. The options to control the leaders are very limited.

The only things you could do is using 'free end' to place the leader at a slight more convenient location (more work)

The other thing that could help is to use a graphics overrides to make the leader a lighter color.

But that is as far as you can take it

Who can i contact at Autodesk for suggestions? There has to be a "place" where users can give suggestions for the programmers. Do you know of any?
