Beam visualization on floor plans

Hi,

Im working on a project in which i was asked to represent beams on floor plans according to the following image. It seems to be a section through the beam and slab.

I am trying to avoid creating several section views and overlaping them on the sheet.

Does anybody knows how this coyld be done

Thanks

Create a stretchable detail component and place it on your plan views.

Not sure what your is showing in your picture, but it sounds like you're saying you've been asked to represent beams on floor plan. Like a grade beam?  We typically do this with Show Hidden Lines and Annotations, or, if the beams in the project, just a hidden line style.

Hi thans for your answer,

I usually represent beams in that way. This is a project for Uruguay, and it is a code requirement to show them as shown in the image.

The image represents a section through the beam, and the lines separated 18cm that go up are representing the floor slab.

A way to do this could be creating a section view that goes through the beam and the slab and put it in the sheet carefully, but this will require to create a new one for each beam in the project.

Hi, thanks for your answer.

I thougth this as a possible solution. The problem with this is that either if the beam or the slab changes, the component will not change and the will be incoherent with another anotation on the view.
