I have a question on steel beam tags as there appears to be a bug to where the position of these tags do not adjust properly with the beam length. I have found this bug to occur in both 2022 and 2023 but haven't tried it in any other versions.
Basically, the behavior is this: after placing a beam and its tag, if I adjust the length of the beam the tag does not change its position (so it does not adjust to the midspan of the beam). However, this does not occur with the default "Structural Framing Tag - Standard" tag. That tag works perfectly. It occurs with virtually every other tag that comes preloaded in Revit. The one in particular I'm using is Structural Framing Tag-w-Studs-Camber.
I've gone into the family, the label, and its parameters. I cannot find any difference between this tag and the standard one that would explain why one tag adjusts its position and the other one does not. Anyone have any ideas and can you replicate it on your end?
