Beam System Graphics

I'm a bit stumped. Sometimes when I create a beam system in a project the joists don't show in the framing plan, which works for our companies standard. But other times they do, then I have to go in a hide all the beam in the beam system. Is there an option I am missing to toggle their visibility when creating the beam system? Thanks!

@leahmbell

Their visibility (that of the used structural framing elements used in the beam system) depends on various factors,

  1. View Discipline
  2. Show Hidden Lines settings
  3. View Display (coarse vs Medium and Fine
  4. View Range
  5. The way the family built and if it has been modeled to show when overhead

Try the following:

Create a view template from the view where they do not show...and apply that view template to the view where they do show
