Beam not showing up in IFC in correct colour

Hi! I have created an extra extrusion in a revit beam family in a different detail level. The new extrusion has exactly the same material, which is tied to the structural material, as the previous extrusion, which worked perfectly. Now when I export it to IFC, it does not show up in the right colour. It seems to lose the presentation layer parameter (see attached). Could that be the reason of it not showing up in the right colour? And how would I go about fixing that?

Sometimes when exporting to IFC, the Material is not the parameter that drives presentation. Did you assign the same Sub-Category in the beam family to the new extrusion and also, do you have the same Sub-category set when "mapping" (export ifc classes).

My beam extrusion shows the sub-categories exactly as in the Revit original beam family: none. Also the IFC type is showing up correctly in IFC information. The only thing not showing up is the Presentatation Layer, and I do not understand how to fix that.

Are both Solids made by extrusion or is one with Sweep or something else.

Also, does the nested Prodile family have any parameters which are different to original solid?

Both are extrusions and no different parameters, it is just copied and detail level changed.
