Base Plate Shear Anchor Configuration

I'm trying to add a shear lug to a column base plate steel connection in Revit 2021. The shear lug (or "shear anchor" in the dialog box) needs to be a 1 3/4" x 6" deep x 15" wide plate across a 15" wide base plate. I have that added in without issue. However, the connection also includes a longitudinal plate that would be parallel to my shear load and therefore useless. It still shows up even with the thickness set to zero. If I try zeroing out the width or depth of the unwanted plate, it breaks the entire connection. Any suggestions?

Good idea. That works. It still wants to show the little square of unwanted plate in my plan view detail, but it's not too noticeable. The other option I tried was breaking the connection and manually deleting the unwanted plate, but I was wanting to use this configuration at multiple locations and have any changes propagate across all of them if needed, so yours is a better solution. Thanks!
