Attach columns to foundations

Dear all structural engineers and modellers.

Is there a way to attach multiple instances of columns to multiple instances of footings for once order ?

Hi @Mohammed_Ata,

If all column base level is same then just select all your Foundation instances and the change the  level of the foundation as per the base level of columns

The easiest way would be to place the columns at grids and then place the footing at columns

(if you have set up your grid lines then you can use a crossing window to place multiple)

If you already have footings placed then add some grid lines and place columns at grid.

make sure you have your columns set correctly for the view you are placing in (i.e.height or depth)
