Area Reinforcement lap Splice

How could i make a lap splice for area reinforcement ?

You can only create that splice manually by adjusting the sketch of each area reinforcement so that they overlap by the desired distance.

The same goes for regular rebar sets.

does autodesk working on a better solution?

Currently splicing of rebar is a manual operation.

You can add this to the Idea Station so that others may vote on it.

One tip:

Once you logged this as an idea on Revit Ideas, I´d suggest to post the link to the idea in this forum thread. 

This way you have better chances to point other users with the same wish to your logged idea and encourage them voting.
