apply reinforcement to extrusion model in place

Good day,

I try to reinforce such a wall (the extrusion model is in place), but it doesn't work.

1. No result to apply reinforcement like a regular wall (Area).
2. Tried this " Free Form Rebar Aligned Distribution". Can't reach result.

Could you show me more clearly?

Thank you.

Hi @montrevg

Looks like you are using Revit 2018. You need at least 2019.1 to be able to use aligned distribution.

Also, you mentioned the element is a model in place. It also needs to be able to host reinforcement, so if it is set as generic model, make sure you click edit in place, and, without anything selected, check the "can host rebar" box in the properties palette.

OR you can just set the category to a structural one.

He is using 2019 and the category he is having is Walls which can host rebars. His file is attached to the Original Post!
