Adding dimensions on a 3D view

Hello everyone,

 

I would like to know if it is possible to add 3D views in revit 2018 in a specific sectionbox. I am currently having problems doing that. You can see in the image columns that are over structural footings, my ideia is to measure the elements of the columns.

Not sure if I understand you correctly but you can always set the workplane to a surface or a plane you want to place the dimensions.
